Founded in 2019

Organized by Illustration graduates from the California College of the Arts, the first Mission Art and Comic Expo was held at Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts on Cinco de Mayo 2019.

The expo featured nearly 70 exhibitors (primarily BIPOC artists)

In 2026, MACE has rebranded as the Muchos Art and Comic Expo to bring their events and activities to the broader Latinx community.
